TeachersCount is proud to be one of four non-profit organizations that are beneficiaries of Jones New York In The Classroom. TeachersCount, along with Adopt-a-Classroom and the Fund for Teachers, has joined Jones New York In The Classroom as part of a broad effort to recruit, retain, and recognize teachers.

The goal of Jones New York In The Classroom and its non-profit beneficiaries is to raise awareness and dollars for vital teacher-based programs. These programs help teachers in many ways, such as putting classrooms up for “adoption” so that teachers can receive the moral and financial support they need from community partners (both to purchase needed classroom items and to boost morale) and creating grants for teachers so they can travel and gain new experiences that they can then bring back to the classroom.
