She has previously co-coordinated an on campus mentoring program and worked for Community Impact at Columbia University. She works to support youth and education by supporting teachers.

Periodically we compile a list of the best of what the Internet has to offer to teachers—be that in the classroom or just in daily life. The current edition, “Math Resources,” highlights websites that focus on lesson plans, articles about math education, and free math games for kids.

AOKTeacher Stuff is an online resource center for educators and parents offering math activities and games for kids.
Campus Tech K-12 Math Software
K-12 Math software offers reduced-price software programs that teach K-12 students math lessons.
Education Planet:  Math
This website does a nice job of organizing online math resources into categories ranging from the history of math to sets and Venn Diagrams.
Education World: Math Center
Education World provides math lessons, articles about teaching math, fun puzzles for students, and state and national standards for teaching math.

Homeschool Math
Homeschool math is a comprehensive math resource site for parents and teachers complete with free worksheets, quizzes and activities that make math learning enjoyable for children.  The resources are focused on helping students grasp math concepts.
Math Playground
Math Playground is a fun-filled site for elementary and middle school students.  The site allows students to get actively involved in their learning of math with games, cool graphics, math activities and more.
Math Resources
Math Resources is an online math resource for teachers.  The site was developed to assist teachers, parents and students in their understanding of mathematical concepts attained in school.  It offers quality math education software for middle, high school and college level students.
National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
A professional organization of math teachers, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics provides lessons, job postings, teaching tips, and a calendar of math-related events.

The Math Learning Center
The MLC is a non profit organization which serves the education community.  It “makes sense of math” by offering resources dedicated to improving math education.
