TeachersTalk Pilot Season Completed
TeachersTalk’s pilot season has been completed and is set to hit the airwaves. Featuring 13 episodes that highlight the experiences of teachers
across the country, TeachersTalk’s diverse content offers insight to the lives of educators and the challenges they face. With topics that cover everything
from education policy to student success stories, TeachersTalk gives great teachers a chance to share with a national audience. To learn more about the
participating teachers and hear their stories click here. The segments will air on NPR Connecticut affiliate Robin Hood Radio every Saturday at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm
and 4:00 pm.

campaign continues to pick up steam. In April, a Time For Kids cover story about celebrities and their favorite teachers featured our
Michelle Snow ad. Our

in the April 26th issue of Country Weekly. The March issue of Real Simple featured our America Ferrera ad, our

ad appeared in the March issue of Ladies Home Journal and our Carrie Underwood ad appeared

Nominate Your Teacher to Go Back to School in Style
Jones New York in the Classroom, one of TeachersCount’s partners, asks you to nominate a fabulous teacher. Nominees will have an opportunity to win

Teachers’ Lounge Makeover
In partnership with KDP (Kappa Delta Pi), we
have finished the remodeling of Reed High School’s teachers’ lounge in New Orleans. We have also selected five more schools to participate in the program.
Staples has agreed to cover the remodeling costs for

Teachers Can Earn College Credit While Traveling |
| GEEO
would like to offer educators the opportunity to earn graduate school credit (3 credits through Indiana University) and professional development credit while
seeing the world. GEEO also advises teachers on how to find funding to subsidize the cost of the trips. The trips are open to all K-12 and University educators
and administrators.
