Ms. Pariseau is the ultimate superteacher! She has all kinds of powers, abilities, and enemies. You see, Ms. Pariseau gives more than just homework and lectures. She saves students from her arch enemies, the evil twins, apathy and illegibility. The powers she uses are incredible. She can talk faster than a speeding pen, can spin a (story) web with ease, and get hotter than the Human Torch when nobody turns in their homework. She swings into action by showing clips of films like The Fantastic Four and The Incredible Hulk to enforce our education, to teach us amazing vocabulary, and offer spelling tips. She also has a highly technologically advanced form of transportation, which she calls the busmobile, to transport fellow students and me on amazing field trips. Like the Wonder Twins, she activates… our note-taking abilities by displaying them on a nine-foot video screen with the help of her trusty resourceful sidekick, “Big Blue,” her laptop. She doesn’t have a truth lasso like Wonder Woman, but she always gets the truth out of her students by giving them the initial respect. Like a mother wolverine protecting its young, she tenaciously reminds her students that my fellow students and I have value and purpose, especially the underdogs. She is the ultimate superteacher.
